Social media management

Social media management in Canberra

Calendars, content and community management, planned a quarter ahead so nothing is posted in a panic. Run by the people who make it, with no account layer in between.

Most social media fails for the same two reasons

It is written the morning it goes out, and nobody can say what it was supposed to achieve. Both are scheduling problems dressed up as creative problems.

We plan a quarter at a time. Content is drafted, designed and approved in batches, which means the calendar is full before the month starts and the work is not competing with whatever else landed in your inbox that day. It is also the single biggest lever on cost, and we are open about why: a post approved inside a batched monthly review takes us about a third less time than one approved on its own.

Social is an amplifier, not the place your brand lives. We have written about why treating it as the source of truth quietly costs you.

What is actually included

No tiers of service where the cheap one leaves out the part that matters. Every engagement includes all of this, and the hours decide how much of it runs each month.

Quarterly content plan

Pillars, campaign moments, awareness dates that genuinely relate to your business, and the gaps left deliberately open for whatever the quarter brings.

Copywriting

Captions written in your voice. Australian English, no emoji unless your audience expects them, and a contact line on anything that asks for a response.

Design and artwork

Produced by our own designer, on your templates, so the feed looks like one brand rather than a stack of stock.

Scheduling and publishing

Built in a shared calendar you can see and comment on before anything goes live. Approval happens in one place, once.

Community management

Comments, messages and reviews answered inside business hours, with an escalation path for anything that should reach you directly.

Monthly reporting

What moved, what did not, and the one change we are making next month. About an hour and a half of work, and it is a page, not a deck.

How a month runs

01

Plan

The quarter is mapped once. Each month we confirm what is coming, what has changed in the business, and anything time sensitive that needs a slot.

02

Make

Copy and artwork are produced in a batch and land in your calendar together, usually a fortnight before the month starts.

03

Approve

One review, one round of changes, one approval. This is where the time saving lives, and it is why batched approval is worth agreeing to.

04

Run and report

Posts go out, messages get answered, and the month closes with a short report and a single recommendation.

What an hour buys

We publish our real production times, because a retainer is only meaningful if you know what it is buying. These are the figures from our own timesheets, not an estimate.

A social post, written, designed and scheduled0.6 hrs
The same post under batched monthly approval0.4 hrs
Monthly report, with a recommendation1.5 hrs
Work in progress catch up0.5 to 1 hr

Retainers start at 10 hours a month. The full rate card, including what each tier covers, is on the pricing page.

Common questions

How much does social media management cost in Canberra?

Ours starts at $1,900 a month excluding GST for ten hours, which covers a planned calendar, produced content, community management and a monthly report for most small businesses. Twenty hours at $3,500 suits a business running campaigns alongside the always on content. Every rate is published on our pricing page, which is unusual for an agency and deliberate.

Which platforms do you manage?

Whichever ones your customers actually use. In practice that is most often LinkedIn and Instagram for professional services, Facebook and Instagram for consumer and trade businesses. We would rather run two channels properly than five badly.

Do we have to approve every post?

No, and it is cheaper if you do not. Approving a month in one sitting takes you less time and takes us about a third less time, which is why we price it differently. Anything sensitive still comes to you on its own.

Who actually does the work?

The people you brief. There is no account layer relaying your words to someone you have never met, and the design is produced in house rather than sent out, which is why turnaround is measured in days.

Do you work with businesses outside Canberra?

Yes. We are based in Dickson and work with clients across the ACT, New South Wales and Queensland. The work runs the same either way.

Can you take over an account someone else has been running?

Usually, yes. We start by reading what has already been published rather than rebuilding from scratch, because the archive tells us what your audience has responded to. You keep ownership of every account and licence throughout.

Tell us what is not working. We will point you at the part worth solving first, whether or not that turns into a project with us.
